Post-Treatment Sunscreen Guide 

After any aesthetic non-surgical procedure (microneedling, chemical peel, laser, dermaplaning, skin boosters, hydrafacial), the skin becomes more sensitive.
Sunscreen is essential to prevent redness,

• Helps reduce the chance of irritation

• Helps minimise the appearance of dark spots

✔ When to Start

Use sunscreen the next morning after most mild and moderate procedures.
(For deep peels or strong lasers, follow your practitioner’s aftercare instructions.)

✔ How to Apply

• Use 2 fingers of sunscreen for the face

• Pat gently onto the skin (avoid rubbing)

• Reapply every 2–3 hours when outdoors

• Avoid direct sun for the first week

Choose a mineral (physical) sunscreen, especially during the first week.
Look for:

• Zinc Oxide

• Titanium Dioxide

• SPF 30–50

• Fragrance-free

• Non-comedogenic
